In winter, you’ll enjoy direct access to the Chamois gondola lift, just 200 metres from the property, so you can go skiing without needing a car. During the rest of the year, there are plenty of activities to enjoy in and around the resort, including hiking, sporting or gastronomic events and cultural shows.
Megève is the most well known of the eight resorts that make up the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area. Both chic and traditional, it offers everything from designer boutiques, to gourmet restaurants and cosy cafés. And if you want to explore further, it’s easy to get to the other resorts in the area, such as Combloux and Les Contamines-Montjoie.
About the property…
Mazelle St Paul is an elegant and comfortable first-floor apartment that can accommodate four guests, with two double bedrooms and a spacious shower room.
The elegant living area includes an open-plan kitchen, fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals after a day in the mountains. A dining table separates it from the seating area, where a sofa and two armchairs are the perfect place to relax with an apéritif or a film. A large French window fills the space with natural light and opens onto a wraparound balcony, where you can soak up the magical atmosphere of Megève.
The two bedrooms each have a large double bed as well as a TV and useful storage space. One of them also has a desk and opens onto the balcony.
The shower room is spacious and modern with a large walk-in shower and a double washbasin. There is a separate WC.
On the practical side, Mazelle St Paul has a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and guests have access to a ski locker.
About the area…
Megève is the most well known of the eight resorts that make up the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area. Both chic and traditional, it offers designer boutiques, gourmet restaurants and cosy cafés. The Palais des Sports, an impressive leisure complex, also has an Olympic ice rink, tennis courts, climbing walls and a large aquatic centre.
In winter, Megève offers access to more than 400km of ski slopes and nearly 120 ski lifts. There are green runs for beginners, while experienced skiers can enjoy off-piste skiing on Côte 2000 and Mont Joly. Megève is also the perfect starting point for ski touring. If you want to get away from the crowds, you can head to the other Évasion Mont-Blanc resorts such as Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, Les Contamines-Montjoie, Combloux, La Giettaz and Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce.
During the rest of the year, you can explore 150km of hiking and cycling trails, while golfers can take on the 18 holes of the Domaine du Mont d’Arbois course, with views of Mont Joly and the Aravis mountains. You can also go paragliding, riding, or admire the Alps from above on a hot-air balloon flight. The village is also very popular with families, with treetop adventure parks, swimming pools, sports facilities and picnic areas by the lake.
